Ultraviolet (UV) Sterilisers can be a very effective method to sanitise the water in your water filter system or your aquarium. UV Sterilisers work by emitting UV light to the smallest of micro-organisms and alter their genetic structure. This helps to shorten their life span and limits their reproduction cycle.

The UV Steriliser will work towards getting rid of the nasty contaminants in your water. If you have an aquarium, a UV Steriliser will not harm any of your aquarium inhabitants but will only concentrate on the algae, parasites, and bacteria.
