If you live in the metropolitan areas of Sydney, you don't have Chlorine treatment in your water you have Chloramine. Chloramine is a combination of Chlorine and Ammonia, a normal carbon cartridge will not effectively treat water with Chloramine added. Doulton Ultracarb treats 0.5 micron with heavy metal reduction in particular lead, Cryptosporidium and Giardia at >99.999% and most harmful bacteria, E-coli, Cholera, Shigella, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Terrigena and others. 9 ¾" (248mm)
