The Omnipure SCL-10 is a scale inhibiting granular activated carbon cartridge, 250 mm (10 inch) long and 50 mm (2 inch) in diameter. 10 micron and rated for 4,750 litres for chlorine. This is the cartridge used by most fridge manufacturers including Samsung. Scale build-up in not usually a problem in fridges unless your water supply is high in calcium, if calcium is not a problem in your area try one of the other Omnipure range.
